ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS
THE RIGHT ROOFER MATTERS
Purchasing a roof can be a daunting task after a natural disaster. Roofing companies come out of the woodwork knocking on your door, telemarketing, and sending you letters by mail attempting to sell you a roof. Holden Roofing has compiled a list of questions for you to ask your roofing contractor to help lessen the stress of selecting a roofer after a disaster. We feel that our qualifications are second to none in the roofing industry and would love the opportunity to earn your business and exceed your expectations.
HOW LONG HAS THE ROOFING CONTRACTOR BEEN IN BUSINESS?
It is common after a storm to see companies advertise “35 years experience”. What is not stated is that the 35 years experience is spread between 10 people at 2-4 years each. Ask any company coming to your home “How long has the company been in business.” This will protect you down the road when the time comes for any type of warranty work to be performed. The Holden family name has been recognized as one of the strongest names in the roofing industry since 1961.
DOES THE CONTRACTOR HAVE AN OFFICE WITH A FULL STAFF OR WORK FROM THEIR HOME / TRUCK?
We have a fully staffed office to better serve you. Holden Roofing has a large corporate office and many local satellite offices to serve your roofing needs.
IS THE CONTRACTOR CERTIFIED WITH ANY SHINGLE MANUFACTURING COMPANY AS A PREFERRED CONTRACTOR?
We are a Platinum Preferred Contractor for Owens Corning, an invitational program by Owens Corning, and a distinction given to less than 7% of Owens Corning Preferred Contractors.
HOW DO YOU KNOW YOUR CONTRACTOR?

DOES THE CONTRACTOR HAVE ENOUGH MANPOWER TO SERVICE YOU IN A TIMELY MANNER?
We have approximately 400 installers, some of which have been roofing for over 30 years and most of them over 10 years. The average home in the area is a one day job. Hard to believe but when you do it every day you become very good at it.
IS THE CONTRACTOR LICENSED AND BONDED TO PULL NECESSARY PERMITS?
We are licensed and bonded in all areas required. We also handle all city or other building permits required.
